Creamy Corn Soup

Ingredients
- 10 ounces frozen corn
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 tablespoon sliced green onions OR 1/4 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon Argo® Corn Starch
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (optional)
Directions
- Cook corn in chicken broth in 3-quart saucepan with red pepper, onion, margarine, salt and hot pepper sauce according to package directions.
- Combine milk and corn starch in blender container. Add cornmixture. Cover and blend at low speed until smooth. Return to saucepan.
- Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, and boil1 minute.
- Stir in cilantro.
