Red Hot Cinnamon Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup red hot cinnamon candies
  • 2 tablespoons Argo® Corn Starch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

  1. Heat apple juice, sugar and red hot cinnamon candies in 2-quart saucepan, stirring occasionally until the candies have dissolved. Whisk corn starch and water together; gradually whisk into apple juice.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute.
  3. Serve over apple pie, apple dumplings or any apple dessert.
