Peach Melba Sauce

A delicious topping for ice cream, angel food cake or pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Argo® Corn Starch
  • 1/2 cup orange juice OR water
  • 2 cups frozen, sliced peaches
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 dash ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Directions

  1. Combine sugar, corn starch and orange juice in 2-quart saucepan. Add peaches.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute. Stir in raspberries, nutmeg and almond extract; cook and stir 1 minute longer.
  3. Serve over ice cream, pound cake or pancakes.
