Fuzzy Navel Peach Sauce

When peaches are in season, substitute 4 fresh peaches that have been peeled and sliced.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons Argo® Corn Starch
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 pound frozen peach slices
  • 2 tablespoons peach liqueur
  • Dash almond extract

Directions

  1. Combine sugar, corn starch and orange juice in a 2-quart saucepan.  Mix well and add peaches.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute.  Remove from heat and add peach liqueur and almond extract.
  3. Serve over ice cream or pound cake.  For extra appeal, stir in 1/2 cup fresh raspberries just before serving.
